Stephen Curry’s still out here proving that time doesn’t touch greatness. On Thursday night at Chase Center, the Warriors’ 37-year-old legend went full “Chef mode,” cooking the Nuggets in a 137-131 overtime thriller that pretty much reminded everyone who runs the Bay.
However, the real viral moment came after the game. When Curry tried to get Jimmy Butler to join in on his signature “night night” celebration, the Heat star coolly declined, leaving Steph hanging in hilarious fashion. Earlier, he doubted Butler’s free-throw bet with Draymond Green, which was pretty hilarious, again.
“Draymond hit one last year so I thought I could share the honor,” Stephen Curry said postgame, smiling.
Guess even legends can get caught off guard sometimes.
