HERMISTON, Ore. – The Hermiston City Council will discuss a resolution at its regular meeting Monday to approve a new power sales agreement between Hermiston Energy Services and the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
If approved, the agreement will extend the partnership with BPA, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective power supply for Hermiston residents through 2044.
Hermiston Energy Services currently purchases power from BPA under a contract that began in 2011 and is set to expire in 2028.
This new agreement aims to continue the city's efforts in maintaining stable energy resources for its customers.
