PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - An Oregonian is among three people who tested positive for E. coli after eating unpasteurized aged cheese linked to a Washington cheese maker.

The Oregon Health Authority says the person from Oregon who tested positive for E. coli provided samples of leftover cheese from Twin Sisters Creamery Farmhouse in Washington state, which were then tested in a lab.

The lab tests reportedly confirmed the presence of E. coli that matched that of two people from Washington who had indirect exposure to cheese from the same company.

The agency says all three people experienced symptoms of an E. coli infection between Sep. 5 and Sept. 16.
