Imphal, October 24 2025: Two Chinese hand grenades were planted at a godown located at Khabam Lamkhai, Imphal East under Heingang police station this morning.

Bahubali Marbles where tiles and marbles are stored has two gates and each of the gates was found affixed with a hand grenade, sources said.

After some local people came across the hand grenades, police were informed immediately at around 7.30 am today, sources said.

After retrieving the hand grenades with the help of Heingang police station, a bomb detection and disposal squad of Manipur Police safely set off the grenades at Heingangching at around 8.40 am .
