SRINAGAR : The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch Kashmir has arrested Ashiq Ali, son of Ghulam Rasool Khan of Panner Jagir, currently residing in Hawal, Srinagar, in connection with a corruption and cheating case registered earlier this year. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to officials, the accused, who served as Patwari in Balhama, Srinagar, was wanted in FIR No. 14/2025 under Sections 167, 420, 120-B of the RPC, read with Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The case involves offences related to corruption, cheating, false mutations, and wrongful entries in revenue records.
