Save Our Youth Kings and Queens organization is giving children a safe haven at a Halloween sleepover in Winton Hills.

One year ago, on Oct. 24, in the same neighborhood, a 5-year-old boy was shot in a drive-by. He died three days later.
In the February cold, a 13-year-old boy was shot and killed. In July, a 12 year old boy was killed and a 32 year-old man has been charged with his murder.
The Treat or Peace event is meant to be an escape for families. David Beal took two of his sons tonight.
He says he would like to see more Cincinnati police in the neighborhood, but safety starts with families.
