MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — In WKRG News 5's Game of the Week, Saraland handily takes the region championship over Theodore.

Head Coaches Jeffy Kelly and Steve Mask have a combined 400 wins in their careers. This matchup was one for the books, with Duke Head Coach Manny Diaz in attendance.

Theodore opens the game with the first touchdown. Saraland did not take that sitting down and immediately sent a message. The offense took over, with a touchdown from Sye Bird and a big run from Eddie Turner.

Saraland stayed dominant throughout the second half, with a final score of 38-14. The Spartans win the Region 1 title and finish their regular season with a 9-0 record.
