The 3rd Lidderwat Trail Run was conducted by Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering & Winter Sports (JIM&WS), recently. The run, spanning approximately 17 kilometers of rugged terrain, covered the rugged valley between Aru and Pahalgam.
Besides promoting fitness and mental resilience, the run also aimed at boosting tourism and fostering nationalism. The event was organized by the JIM&WS in close collaboration with the Civil Administration, Pahalgam, and the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department.

This year saw the participation of around 200 runners who came from different parts of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and other northern regions. Out of these, approximately 130 were boys and 70 were girls.
