Twelve Telangana migrant workers trapped in Jordan have returned home, thanks to the efforts of BRS leader T. Harish Rao. The workers, who faced starvation and exploitation, thanked Rao for rescuing them after repeated pleas to the government went unanswered.
Hyderabad: Twelve migrant workers from Telangana, who had been trapped in Jordan under different circumstances, have finally returned to their native villages, thanks to the relentless efforts of Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and former minister T. Harish Rao.
The workers, who arrived in Hyderabad in the early hours on Saturday , were received at Harish Rao’s residence. Overwhelmed with emotion, they expressed their gratitude to the BRS party and Rao personally for rescuing them from dire circumstances abroad.
