HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Ticen Johnson has established himself as one of the most powerful kickers in Class B football. A couple weeks back, he hit from 59 yards out to tie the Class B state record. Last week, he connected from 53 yards out.
The coaching staff recognized Johnson’s ability when he arrived as a freshman. The Tigers already had a veteran kicker at the time, but two years later, Johnson leads the way on special teams.
He’s averaging 36 yards per punt with a long of 57 yards and has been sending kickoffs out of the back of the endzone.
