The inaugural session of the 16th IEEE UEMCON organised by IEM and UEM commenced at the IBM Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Centre for Learning, New York, USA, from 22 to 24 October, marking a vibrant start to the international conference.

The session was inaugurated by General Chair – Dr Son Vuong (University of British Columbia), along with Technical Program co-chairs – Dr Phillip Bradford (The University of Connecticut) and Dr Rajashree Paul (University of Engineering and Management).
