There was a single to left field in the first inning — that’s to be expected of a hitter of his quality, even after seven weeks off — and also a magnificent play at second base, a position he has never before played in the Major Leagues — which wasn’t as expected.

All in all, a pretty good spark, that helped the Jays easily take the first game against the Los Angeles Dodgers
