Inter Miami have officially confirmed the extension of Lionel Messi’s contract and he will be a part of the team till the 2028 MLS season. The announcement came a day after Miami’s playoff opener, signalling club’s long term intent in order to back their captain. Messi joined the club in 2023 and led them to Leagues Cup title within weeks and has continued to perform exceptionally well for the team.
