THREE-TERM state Sen. Denise Ricciardi , R-Bedford, is wasting no time bulking up her campaign war chest. All of that and then some may be needed if she gets a serious primary challenge next year from first-term Rep. and businessman Brian Labrie , R-Bedford, who’s confirmed he’s seriously exploring a bid.

House GOP leaders recently made Labrie an assistant majority leader. He also is president of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association.

Ricciardi’s fall fundraiser next Tuesday at the Fotia Greek Taverna in Manchester has already raised $70,000 from its Diamond ($5,000 apiece) and Gold ($2,500) sponsors.

General admission tickets go for $250 each.
