SPIRITWOOD, N.D. — Rep. Julie Fedorchak says the uncertainty of the soybean market has been difficult for North Dakota’s agricultural producers, but she is hopeful that the U.S. will get a good trade agreement with China.
“(Hopefully) they'll come to the table in good faith and work out a lot of the other kind of nontrade and on ag trade related issues that are holding things up and come to an agreement to purchase hopefully large volumes of our soybeans yet this year,” said Fedorchak, R-N.D.
Fedorchak toured the Green Bison Soy Processing facility in Spiritwood, North Dakota, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, where she spoke with plant officials about the soybean market and the facility’s production.
