SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the weekend! It starts out rough as the first of 2 rounds of storms moves through from west to east across the ArkLaTex this morning. This line of storms is expected to slowly weaken, yet still bring threats for gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

The line should begin to exit the region as we approach the noon hour, then most of the region should turn mostly dry through the early and mid-afternoon hours. Another wave develops over in central Texas and moves into the region by the late afternoon and early evening.

The second round of storms brings a higher chance for damaging winds, large hail, flash flooding, and an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out! The storms should move from southwest to the northeast through the evening and finally exit just
