The Carroll Twp. supervisors’ meeting on Oct. 14 opened with the unveiling of the Shermans Dale Ambulance Association decals on its “Big Blue” ambulance. The association thanked the township for its long-term support. Association president Jeff Potteiger said the decals honor the supervisors’ commitment to EMS services and founding member John Sledzinski Sr.

Former township auditor Cindy Jay criticized current Carroll Twp. auditors Jed Nessinger and Steve Kralikat, accusing them of failing to perform required duties, violating the Sunshine Act and raising supervisor pay. Jay said auditors have not audited the tax collector in two years and have held closed meetings without public notice, which she said is a violation of law.
