GRANITE CITY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at a bar in Granite City early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened just before 2:00 a.m. at Patrick’s Bar in the 2900 block of Nameoki Road. Officers say the shooting happened during a disturbance.

The victim died at a local hospital. A suspect has been taken into custody.
