Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday highlighted the need for unity and discipline within the Mahayuti alliance, stressing that internal conflicts should not undermine the coalition’s strength.

Shinde mentioned that several issues concerning Maharashtra were discussed during a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “After meeting Modiji, I feel inspired; we take pride in being part of the NDA. Modiji is not just the Prime Minister but also the head of the NDA family," he said, noting that memories of late Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray were also revisited during their conversation.
