Halloween is coming up next Friday, but that doesn’t mean the fun isn’t already beginning.

Throughout the Bay Area, cities have already begun setting up events to bring out the crowds. Pumpkin patches have sprung up everywhere, inviting families to spend time with the kids, and pick out pumpkins. There are plenty of fun events and places to check out this weekend, such as the Serramonte Center pumpkin patch.

The Serramonte Center pumpkin patch has inflatable slides, bounce houses, pumpkins and even a paintball gun booth where kids can shoot at targets. San Bruno resident Sam Arnaout said he usually visits the pumpkin patch twice during October.
