SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - After a week mainly in the 80s, including a record-tying 91° on Monday, much cooler air returns to the Suncoast next week. A series of cold fronts will drop south across Florida in the next several days, bringing a wide range of weather changes. But no significant rain for many days.
As the first front approaches this weekend, our temps and humidity are increasing. Dew points will climb back near 70° by Sunday for a more humid feel. Winds also increase out of the East at 15 to 25 mph. As the front moves south Monday, winds shift to the North and temperatures and humidity levels drop. Then the second cold front moves through the Suncoast Wednesday night with even cooler and drier air. Our highs drop to the 70s and humidity plunges with dew points dipping to the 50s.
