A freeze warning is in effect until 9 a.m. Saturday for parts of central Pennsylvania, with frost advisories in other areas as cold temperatures grip the region.

In the Harrisburg area, highs temperatures the next several days will be in the mid- to upper 50s, with overnight lows in the 30s.

Morning fog is expected to develop Sunday, with renewed frost and freeze potential overnight.

Lake effect rain showers in the far northwest mountains will gradually diminish today as high pressure builds in.

Temperatures will remain seasonably cool with partly to mostly cloudy skies for most areas.

Sunday will bring a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to near 60 degrees. The National Weather Service indicates frost and freeze risks will continue Sunday night.
