The 2nd round of the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship saw a premature end on Friday due to darkness, but not before a leader emerged at the halfway point of the tournament.

Weather was perfect at Black Desert Resort in Ivins as players and fans meandered through black lava and red rocks on the course designed by golf legend Tom Weiskopf.

They just ran out of daylight.

Playing on a sponsor exemption, Michael Brennan followed his first round 67 with a second round 65 for a -10 to lead the field going into the weekend.

Brennan is making his third career PGA Tour start and his first as a professional. He played four years of college golf at Wake Forest and was a two-time ACC champion (2023, 2024).
