C.C. Schabo of Sheridan, one of the early pioneers of this county, is visiting here this week with old friends. Mr. Schabo will be remembered by many of the old timers as the one who drove the second train to Gillette. Mr. Schabo expressed much pride over the fact that the tree which he planted near what is now the Melody Mart, and was then his residence, is still standing. Mr. Schabo is attending the funeral of W.R. Fox and has been a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Underwood.
