Hyderabad, Oct. 25 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, V.C. Sajjanar , has issued a public alert about a new WhatsApp scam where fraudsters are using his photo as a display picture (DP) to send messages to his contacts and the general public.

He said these are fake, fraudulent accounts, and the messages are intended to deceive people into revealing personal details or sending money.

He urged citizens not to respond to such messages and to block and report the numbers immediately.

Sajjanar cautioned citizens to never share personal details with unknown contacts or those making unsolicited requests.
