Police are appealing for information after a Vauxhall Vectra was allegedly reversed deliberately into a parked car resulting in structural damage to a property. Cleveland Police said the incident happened in Normanby's Blengdale Close yesterday afternoon and a 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "At approximately 3.15pm on Friday, October 24, a silver Vauxhall Vectra – registration WU09 UVT – has reversed into a motor vehicle on Blengdale Close. The car was parked on the driveway of the property and has caused structural damage. There have been no reports of any injuries, and the house was unoccupied at the time it occurred.
