The Nashville Predators will be forced to play without their captain.
Roman Josi has been listed week-to-week with an upper-body injury the team confirmed on Saturday.
At the end of last season, the Predators shared that Josi had been diagnosed with postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS), but this most recent ailment is not related to the diagnosis.
The 35-year-old has one goal and four assists over eight games so far this season.
Head coach Andrew Brunette also announced that defenceman Nic Hague, who had been on the injury reserve with an upper-body injury, will be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Hague has yet to play this season.
