Raymie Postema of Marshall has been reappointed to the Autism Council by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, according to a community announcement.
Postema is the director of the Office of Recipient Rights at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Western Michigan University.
Her new term on the Autism Council began Oct. 23, 2025, and will expire Sept. 30, 2029.
The Autism Council is responsible for overseeing Michigan's Autism Spectrum Disorders State Plan. The council will implement, monitor and update the plan, which aims to provide comprehensive supports for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
