VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. — A man is in custody after an officer-involved shooting on I-94 in Van Buren County on Friday night.
According to the Michigan State Police (MSP), around 9:15 p.m. troopers from the Paw Paw Post were involved in a shooting on westbound I-94 near Mile Marker 66.
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
Troopers said a man is in custody for suspected operating while impaired.
The left lane of the freeway was temporarily shut down for processing and has since reopened.
The incident is under investigation by MSP detectives.
