The Pleasant Valley High School football team improved to 5-3 and 3-0 in Eastern Athletic League play with the Vikings’ 38-28 win against Foothill on Friday night in Palo Cedro.

PV led 28-21 late in the fourth quarter, but Brayden Wynkoop ran in for a TD and Titus Andrus ran in for a 2-point conversion to give the Vikings a 35-21 lead. After an interception by Trevor Chesonis, Alex Hondo made a 32-yard field goal to give the Vikings a 38-21 lead with 3:32 left in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for the Vikings. Andrus added three rushing TDs, one coming from 90 yards away.

PV plays next at 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Enterprise, before finishing its regular season schedule at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at home against Shasta.
