The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch the ‘ BlueBird-6 ’ satellite, developed with US-based AST SpaceMobile , in the first week of next month, ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan announced. The communication satellite will lift off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. He said work on Chandrayaan-4 is progressing, with a 70–80-tonne rocket being designed for the lunar mission. The Centre has sanctioned `4,000 crore for India’s third rocket launch facility at Sriharikota, to be built through private partnerships under the Bharatiya Antariksha Station (BAS) project.
