People on Attendance Allowance may be able to boost payments by £146 every month. The benefit from the Department for Work and Pensions, or DWP , is usually paid every four weeks.

This works out at around £295.60 or £441.60 every pay period. But older people claiming AA from the DWP have been reminded it may be worthwhile contacting the DWP to report a change of circumstances.

If your circumstances change, the amount you get from Attendance Allowance may go up or down. If you are currently on the lower rate of £73.90 per week, your payments could increase by £36.50 to the higher rate of £110.40.
