Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday promised a cricket stadium and an India-Pakistan match in Mahua assembly constituency if he wins from this seat in next month's elections.

Tej Pratap, who was expelled from the RJD by his father Lalu Prasad Yadav in May and floated his own party, the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD), asserted that he faced no competition in Mahua, where he made his electoral debut from Mahua on an RJD ticket in 2015.

"A cricket stadium will also be built in Mahua, and I will make sure an India vs Pakistan match is played. I have no competition in Mahua," Tej Pratap, who is contesting from Mahua on a JJD ticket, told reporters in Patna.

The RJD has given a ticket to Mukesh Raushan, the sitting MLA from Mahua, who is a close aide of Tejashwi Yadav. From the ND
