AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was responding to a shooting at the Austin Public Library downtown.

APD said the call came in shortly after noon, and no suspects were in custody at this time. One person was injured in the shooting; however, their status is currently unknown.

APD said the library was in the process of being evacuated.
