Hotel desk clerk tells unruly guest he will need reinforcements: Orange Police Blotter

Police responded to Extended Stay America South on Oct. 22 concerning an incident the previous day with the front desk clerk and a guest who was paying for an extra night’s stay through a third party.

When a dispute arose over whether the payment went through, the guest warned the clerk that if she kept messing with him, she in turn was going to get messed up.

When she told him to cease with the actual obscenities he was using, he said he would have his mother “mess” her up, followed by threats to have his wife do it.

The clerk told him they all better bring reinforcements with them, later telling police she took the threats as legitimate. Although she declined to press charges at that time, she requested documentation of the incident.
