Addison Barger's grand slam didn't just lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a victory in game one of the World Series , it also means free breakfast at Denny's .

Ahead of the fall classic, the diner chain pledged to give away free Original Grand Slam breakfasts to members of its Denny’s Rewards loyalty program if any player hit a grand slam during the series. In the sixth inning of game one on Friday night, Oct. 24, Barger hit what wound up being the first pinch-hit grand slam in the World Series.

That means free breakfasts on the house at Denny's. The deal “is our way of turning a history-making hit into an unforgettable meal for everyone in the Denny’s Rewards family," said Denny's chief brand officer Ellie Doty in a news release about the promotion .
