Visiting Buxton, Causey says flood insurance for vulnerable beach homes is a federal issue

On Monday, Oct. 20 NC Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey stood before perhaps 20 people at Fatty’s Eatery in Buxton and delivered a sobering message about the state’s role in insuring vulnerable oceanfront homes there.
