A Fairfax County police recruit was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Fauquier County, authorities announced.

On Friday, Oct. 24, police say that Fauquier County sheriff's deputies arrested Mariah Raquel Dant, 24, of Manassas, and charged her with DWI.

She was placed on administrative leave pending final disciplinary action, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

No additional details were released by either agency.
