HOOVER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Hoover Police have made two arrests in a robbery that happened Oct. 24 in the area of Crowne Woods Drive.

Police say a victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by several people who ran into a nearby apartment.

One of the suspects is an 14-year-old boy from Birmingham. He was taken to the Jefferson County Youth Detention Center and is being charged as a juvenile with first-degree robbery and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.

A second suspect, 19-year-old Ray Anthony Bell of Hoover is also charged with first-degree robbery. He is being held in the Hoover City Jail without bond and will be taken to the Jefferson County Jail later Saturday.

Police say an investigation revealed the suspects and the victim likely knew each other.
