TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a suspect is hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting.

The Tucson Police Department says they responded to a report of shots fired and an armed robbery in the 8600 block of East Old Spanish Trail about 9:40 a.m.

Police say the descriptions of the suspect in both reports were similar.

The shooting happened behind the store.

The condition of the suspect is not known, but the Tucson Police Department said no other injuries were reported.

Police say the Pima Regional Critical Incident Team has been notified to investigate.

This was the 10th officer-involved shooting in southern Arizona this year.
