San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama has gotten off to a blazing start to his 2025-26 season, and is the key reason why the Spurs have gotten off to their first 2-0 start since 2020-21.

Wembanyama opened the season with a stunning performance against the Dallas Mavericks, scoring 40 points and recording 15 rebounds in a blowout win over the Dallas Mavericks, showing off the work he did in the offseason.

"I can assure you, nobody has trained like I did this summer," Wembanyama said . "And this is my best summer so far. I can tell the progress is just incredible. I feel better, I look stronger and the scale says I'm heavier. So, everything is a green light."
