After Auburn football trailed 21-10 at the halftime mark the Tigers needed a breakthrough going into the third quarter.

Rayshawn Pleasant was the spark for Auburn’s comeback as he returned the opening half kickoff for 50-yards, putting the Tigers offense in good field position to start the third quarter.

“I knew coming out of halftime I had to give my team a spark. I told the guys before we hit the field, I told them, ‘Y’all get a body on a body, and y’all meet me at the goal post.,’” Pleasant said postgame. “I was really still mad I got caught by the kicker, and I knew I had to find some type of way to get into the end zone, and I delivered with the pick six.”
