Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu on Saturday inaugurated the renovated Terminal 2 (T2) at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, a day before it is opened to the public. The reopening of T2 coincides with the start of the winter schedule, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which operates IGIA, underlined in a statement.

“Handling nearly 50% of the Northern region’s total passenger traffic and managing nearly 50,000 transfers every day, Delhi is emerging as a preferred transfer hub. And I believe this has been possible only because of DIAL’s continuous push for upgrading the infrastructure and enhancing passenger throughput,” the Aviation Minister said.
