COLUMBIA — South Carolina football quarterback LaNorris Sellers was playing one of his best games of the season but a costly fumble with under two minutes left helped No. 4 Alabama escape with a 29-22 win on Oct. 25 in Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks (3-5, 1-5 SEC) had a 22-14 lead in the fourth quarter but Alabama tied it 22-22 with 2:16 left.

Sellers fumbled on first-and-10 and Alabama recovered at the South Carolina 38, giving the Crimson Tide (7-1, 5-0) prime field position to win with a touchdown.

Germie Bernard scored on a 25-yard run on third-and-10 for Alabama.
