SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Runners in costumes gathered downtown today for the Halloween Hustle, a fundraising event that benefits Harmony House through 5K and 10K races.
The event featured a new one-mile Candy Dash for participants, with costumes heavily encouraged throughout the races.
“Hopefully, we’ll tell you a few things that, you know, you know where to turn if you ever need help or someone that you know and love is ever in need,” said Fred Alexander of Harmony House. “We want them to be able to know how to reach Harmony House at the time that they need us.”
All donations from the Halloween Hustle will go to Harmony House to help provide shelter, safety, and support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
