EUGENE - The No. 6 Oregon Ducks seemingly left most of their offensive punch at Rutgers.
The Ducks didn’t need much Saturday, though, as they ground out a 21-7 win over the offensively inept Wisconsin Badgers at Autzen Stadium.
UO’s offensive showing paled in comparison to last week’s 750-yard performance against Rutgers, as the Ducks amassed 335 yards.
Even before quarterback Dante Moore left Saturday’s game early in the third quarter with a nose injury, Oregon’s offense struggled to generate points.
The Ducks (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) got the running game going in time to get the job done with Brock Thomas at quarterback.
Oregon, a 31-point favorite, rushed for 203 yards on 45 carries against a Wisconsin defense that ranked 10th in the nation, allowing 97.6 yards per game on the ground.
