ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Saturday was the first of nine early voting days for Monroe County. This election will decide candidates for dozens of vacant seats, including several town supervisors, two state supreme court justice seats, and even the mayor’s seat.

Overall, in Monroe County, 3,250 voters showed up to submit their ballots on Saturday.

Since this is an off-year election, meaning there will be no vote for a presidential candidate, the Monroe County Board of Elections isn't expecting a huge turnout. However, they strongly encourage all who can vote to do so, because to them, all politics are local politics.
