EUGENE, Ore. -- It almost looked like it was going to happen again. Entering the fourth quarter, it seemed the Badgers were going to go a third consecutive game without scoring a single point.

But alas, they finally did it. Hunter Simmons guided the Badgers down the field then completed a short pass to Lance Mason for the first Wisconsin touchdown since Oct. 4.

It didn't matter, of course, Oregon was well in control at that point and maintained their hold on the game to win 21-7 Saturday night. The Badgers' losing streak grew to six games.

The Badgers' touchdown saved them from an unspeakable fate. Wisconsin's next game isn't until Nov. 8, and going into Saturday's game their last points were scored on Oct. 4. So had Wisconsin gone scoreless against Oregon they would've doomed themselve
