HURON — Nearly 750 runners competed in the South Dakota State High School Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Broadland Creek Golf Course.

Repeat individual winners include Brianna Reilly of Harrisburg, Class AA girls; Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern, Class B girls; and Tate Grabow of Hill City, Class A boys. Boekelheide capped a stellar six-year career that included three Class B titles, two runner-up finishes and a sixth-place showing.

Class B individual boys' winner Silas Holdermann also won in 2023 and finished second in 2024.

Other indivdual winners were Mikah Peters of Brandon Valley (Class AA boys) and Ellie Maddox of Sioux Falls Christian (Class A girls).
