LEXINGTON, Ky. —
The Kentucky Wildcats can't keep up with the Tennessee Volunteers, losing in a Week 9 home game at Kroger Field.
Opening with two back-to-back touchdowns by the Volunteers, the Wildcats started Saturday’s game with slim chances of winning. Tennessee senior quarterback Joey Aguilar solidifies the first touchdown with a 35-yard pass to junior wide receiver Chris Brazzell II. The Volunteers’ second touchdown was the result of an interception and 45-yard return by sophomore defensive back Edrees Farooq.
The Cats are able to make it out of the first quarter thanks to a 71-yard pass from freshman quarterback Cutter Boley to senior wide receiver and Alabama transfer Kendrick Law. This small victory was short-lived as the Volunteers scored their third touchdown in the first qua
